is originally from Bethesda, Maryland. She received her Bachelors degree from Providence College, in Providence , Rhode Island.
In 1983, Dr. Salcetti graduated from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.. At Georgetown, Dr. Salcetti was a member of the Oral Cancer Society of the District of Columbia. Upon graduation, she received the Psi Omega and Mary C. Dirisi award for "the highest degree of clinical proficiency" of the graduating class.
Following her graduation, Dr. Salcetti taught Removable Prosthodontics at the University.
In 1987, Dr. Salcetti completed a three year specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at Memorial Hospital, Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center in NYC.
During her training, Dr. Salcetti was exposed to and treated many different aspects of head and neck reconstruction, fabricating both intra-oral and extra-oral prostheses. This was followed by 18 years of clinical restorative experience with the major implant systems available today.

Dr. Salcetti served on the executive board of the Dutchess County Dental Society from 1991-1995 and was president of the society from 1994-1995. She is also an active member of this and the New York State Dental Society.
Dr. Salcetti is committed to prosthodontic excellence by continuing advanced education. She is an active participant in the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Salcetti volunteers her time and services yearly to provide dental care to the people of the Dominican Republic. She is an active member of the Institute for Latin America Concern (ILAC) with Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dr. Salcetti has been in private practice for Prosthodontics, Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Implant Prosthetics in the Hudson Valley since 1987.
Dr. Salcetti's other interests are traveling, reading, and cooking. She is actively involved in her children's school.
